Got these to replace the wooden ware in two older hives. Really is a difference in the hives. Seem to be more active because they don't have work as hard maintaining tempature. Going to keep an eye on them and compare against older hives this winter. Will know more as time progresses . They are a bit easier to maintain.

Im most impressed with the design, but the construction quality is excellent as well! It was very easy to put together and I really like the strength to weight ratio! The bees took to it with no problem in very very hot summer weather and I’m anxious to see how it performs this winter. I only wish that it was adapted to be able to use a OA vaporizer.

Excited to see how it holds up compared to wood hives, may change my direction

I have purchased 3 of the Hive IQ and a couple extra medium boxes but a couple of the things about the hives is definitely no bee space under the top so bees get smashed and definitely could use some kind of top feeder ! I purchased other polystyrene hives that offer top feeders. My point is next year I will have 100 hives and im replacing my Woodward with poly so hoping Hive IQ offers a top feeder or I will have to purchase another product that does
